Des Arc Museum & Community Center

The Des Arc Museum & Community Center, established in 2017, was created to preserve and share the rich history of Des Arc. Housed in the historic Des Arc Baptist Church, each room is filled with artifacts that tell the story of the town’s past. Visitors can explore items from the old hand mill, local bank, and other significant historical collections. A special military remembrance room honors the brave veterans of Des Arc, showcasing photographs and memorabilia. The museum is open every Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, or by appointment at 573-598-4572. Throughout the year, the Des Arc Museum also hosts a variety of dinners and community events.

Pine Hill Drive-in

The Pine Hill Drive-in Theater, a charming single-screen drive-in located in Piedmont, Missouri, first opened its doors in 1953 and operated until its closure in 2015. Despite its closure, the original screen, marquee, and concession stand remained standing. In the summer of 2022, the Pine Hill Drive-in officially reopened, bringing the nostalgia of classic drive-in movie nights back to life. Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed and well-behaved.
